MEET MARIA!

• Academics: I am a recent graduate from Columbia University, with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering. 

• Career: I am passionate about using engineering and design to combat the climate crisis, and ultimately helping as many people as I can! I am currently actively looking for a graduate position in London. 

• Fencing: I compete globally for the British fencing team, as well as Columbia's varsity fencing team. 

• Dual national: I was born in the US, but moved to Truro, UK in 2008. Luckily, I have citizenship in both the UK and US, and I plan to begin my career in London in Autumn 2021. 

• Fun stuff: I am also a qualified bartender, avid hiker, cyclist & sailor. I grew up by the beach and there is nowhere I would rather be than a sunset barbeque, no matter the weather!
